Sophia Sagaradze (1997) is a Georgian sound artist, composer, and performer based in Denmark. Sophia works with multichannel electronics, experimental live performance, audio-visual installations and electro-acoustic compositions.
Sophia holds a bachelor’s degree in classical composition from Tbilisi State Conservatoire and a master’s in electronic composition from DIEM at the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus/Aalborg.
In 2022, she was awarded the Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Foundation’s Talent Award in Composition.
She is the founder and artistic director of Aarhus Sound Association (Aarhus Lydforening) and lectures at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus and Aalborg.
